Anti-war talking points + Anti-establishment talking points unite!
BIG NEWS: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and fellow disaffected Democrat, Tulsi Gabbard, have fully gone out on their respective limbs to support President Trump. Woooooo. I won’t go much into this story because—there’s not much of a story.
If you've been following the alternative media scene over the past 5-7 years, it shouldn't come as a surprise that RFK Jr. dropped out of his own presidential campaign to back Trump, with Tulsi Gabbard joining his campaign transition team and potential cabinet, if elected. This move —while predictable if you’ve been watching these characters for some time, aims to garner a boost in support for Trump.
Trump’s team has been strategically courting the audiences of both Gabbard and RFK Jr., who appeal to a more libertarian, third-party-leaning demographic. This move aligns perfectly with his efforts to consolidate support from that segment of voters. Additionally, this approach is designed to attract disaffected Bernie Sanders supporters and former Democrats, broadening his appeal to voters who feel alienated by the mainstream political establishment.
Both right-wing and leftist groups may share a distrust of established political institutions and elites. This common ground can lead to temporary alliances, especially when addressing issues like government overreach, civil liberties, or health freedom (whatever that means these days). When I first got into this space, I spent a good chunk of time, initially, with people who came from the disaffected Democrat / former Bernie and/or Tulsi Gabbard supporters / slightly libertarian / post-left / anti-war / god knows what other label they styled themselves as — ANYWAYS, I spent months trying to understand this particular group of people and their support for characters like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard.
What drew me to some of the people who operated in these spaces was their willingness to think outside of the typical establishment paradigm. Beyond that — they tend to agree on being “anti-war,” though I’m unsure how that works given both of their support for the current war in Gaza along with the wars being waged throughout the globe—specifically in Africa (here’s to you, Ms. Gabbard). I’m all for ending wars and giving people the freedom to do what they like with their bodies be it medically approved or not—I’m just not interested in assisting Republicans bolster their own base by pretending to cater to any type of real anti-war movement.
The Trump team understands that support via RFK Jr. and to a lesser extent, Tulsi Gabbard, is on brand and on message with their target audience to maintain a strong presence online where they still can be seen as semi-legitimate, compared to the other audiences Trump has managed to garner…but I’ll leave that for another time.
I'm voting for Trump despite the fact that they are now working closely with those who have suppressed me and worked to hire thieves and sexual abusers and push them to the top. It sounds horrible and it is. However all the party leadership's have this same problem, but at a local level there are opportunities to take over. In NY the Republicans are the defacto resistance group and are a collection ground for the disaffected. There are different strategies to engage on a local and a national level. A republican president will help destabilize the democrat control in NYS and give me and my team more leverage.
I'm still registering democrat and entering county committee for it controls judges and the ballot process, but when it comes time to fighting the political machine that has most of the power I will be teaming up largely with Republicans since the Greens and Libertarians are blackballing me because I am too much of a threat to the leadership. The Conservative party is on the ballot and voter registration forms as is the Working Families Party but the WF party is too entrenched with the current existing power.
The closer the races are the more leverage the little people have. I am also being blackballed by Republicans at the top of the chain, but they do not have good control of their local candidates and further motivated by a desire to acquire power they are more receptive to me and my coalition's issues and more willing to share their resources.
RFK and Tulsi's people treated me like I was disposable shit, but now I am recognized by many on the ground out here and I will continue to grow my influence and to affect the process.
Political careers when you go for the national presidential game puts a clock on your career. You can't sit there for life like a supreme court judge or hold 40 years of senate/congressional seats. Your movement gets national attention but then it burns out.
So let them raise up for now... I plan on being here after they are gone.
Come back on my show if you're still doing politics. I'm one of the best in the game.
Kennedy throwing his weight behind the President who oversaw Operation Warpspeed tells you all you need to know.
I'm 36, and I remember when "the left" was pro-bodily sovereignty, anti-war, and anti-censorship. The only anti-vaxxers I knew then were liberal hippies.
Grownass folks need to figure out their own identities and principles. Then, stick to them no matter what. People trapped in dialectics stick to their tribe no matter what, which leaves them susceptible to all sorts of cons. They become like sheep herded.
