"I've spent more than 25 hours of private dinners with Xi," says a wistful Biden on his fond memories spent with Xi Jinping and the CCP.
Don't get caught off guard again.
Change is coming. You know it, I know it. Even if things are going exactly as you’re hoping they possibly can during these strange times—just admit it. Something feels different. What will you do with what’s ahead? Do we welcome Utopia, surrendering our dwindling freedom just like that? I know your immediate reaction might be, “Oh no, that won’t happen here. Trump’s leaving office, things calm down.” Ha. If you say so.
There’s a very real chance that, as much as you want the narrative you prefer to be true, Joe Biden aka “Joe Biden” will be the President in a couple months. Gee, old Joey B. sure was chatty a few years ago with the Davos crowd. For all you “Vote Blue, No Matter Who!” people out there, let his words sink in a bit.
Remarks at Davos 2016:
“I’m not here making a populist case, this is not about class warfare, this is about shared economic well-being and global security…it’s something we should all care about'.”
“In my country, they call me “Middle Class Joe."
”I’m just a plain old politician— I run for public office, I try to keep contact with my constituents, *for real*, &…people who are much less sophisticated than anyone in this room worry about the answer to that question.”
I mean — the video speaks for itself. This is what we have?
The last four years have been a wild ride. Some of us will come out better than we went in—some will come out and nothing’s ever going to be the same. It’s time to adapt. Take what you’ve learned from the last four years and apply it so that you’re not stuck in the past when the future gets here pretty soon. I hope I’m wrong, but it’s always best to understand who people really are (or pretend to be?) — what’s a better source than the source itself? Nothing.

I spend a lot of time. We spent more than a day drinking all the tea in China. So we are going to nuke them after that horrible chinese water boarding torture, Jasmin tea is insipid,, I'm a sophist, Work hard, drink yer tea,, and nuke the other guy.. possibilities, possibilities, possibilities
He couldn't even make it through an almost hour-long speech these days.
